Joyner – Jewell Reddish Joyner, age 87, of Starke, Florida passed away July 13, 2011 at E.T. York Hospice House in Gainesville. She was born in Lawtey, Florida on April 17, 1924 to the late James Marion Reddish and Pearl Mabell Reddish. Jewell has been a lifelong resident of Bradford County. She was a member of Bayless Highway Baptist Church and she retired in 1989 after 20 years of dedicated work for the City of Starke. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Noel P. Joyner; her brother, James Marion Reddish; her sister, Gladys Green; her son-in-law, Leaton Morgan, III; her grandson, Leaton Morgan, IV; and her granddaughter, Melissa M. White.
She is survived by her children, Ann and Travis Woods and Janet and Dolph Reddish both of Starke, FL, Glenna and Phillip Suggs of Keystone Heights, FL , and Randy and Brenda Joyner of Alachua, FL; her sister, Elva Lee Reddish Cantrell of Jacksonville, FL; her 9 grandchildren; her 25 great grandchildren; and her wonderful caregiver for 3 months, Prinadon Deese.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 3:30 pm at Archie Tanner Funeral Services with Pastor Jeff Stading officiating. Interment will be held privately at Kingsley Lake Cemetery.
