Jack Armstrong

Jack Armstrong aka John Charles Larsh, 62 of High Point died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at High Point Regional Hospital.
     
He was born December 4, 1945 in Durham County a son to the late John Edgar Larsh, Jr. and Ruth Ella Noel Larsh. He was a best friend, father, radio man, music lover, teacher and above all a believer. He believed in the truth, compassion, raw talent and living life to its fullest. He was neither a fearless nor traditional man, but was Courageous, Loud and Brilliant. Jack's accomplishments are recognized in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and appreciated by thousands of people around the world. He leaves behind a loving family, friends and a life well lived.
     
Survivors include three children: Vanessa Hunter Larsh of Miami Beach, FL, Devon Larsh Fischer and husband Matthew of San Francisco, CA, and Maggie Larsh of Los Angeles, CA; a granddaughter Mallory Mary Fischer; a sister Peggy Larsh Williams of Graham; a brother Robert Neal Larsh of Edenton; and an aunt Minnie Neal of Benton, IL.
     
Jack Armstrong will be greatly missed by many. If you would like to join in celebrating Jack's journey, a ceremony will be held at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Dr., High Point, on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 5:00 pm.
