Nina Fae Cockrell passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the Riverpark Nursing Center in Eugene, OR at the age of 90.
She was born November 30, 1920 to George William and Sue Ella Cockrell in Rural Shade, Texas where she grew up and attended school at Long Prairie. She was a life-long resident of Corsicana and member of Westhill Church of Christ. She moved to Oregon in her later years to be near her sister.
She was very talented seamstress and quilter who created beautiful quilts for her family. She will be remembered as a loving sister and aunt who will be greatly missed. We find comfort knowing she is in Heaven and is at peace.
