Glenda Sue McDonald was born on May 2, 1944, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Lonnie and Mildred (Baker) Maxwell. Glenda was baptized as an infant and confirmed in her youth in the Baptist Faith. She received her education in Fairbanks, Alaska and graduated from high school in 1962.
On June 9, 1962, Glenda was united in marriage to Darrel McDonald at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks. This union was blessed with three children, Michael, Terry and Kelly. Glenda and Darrel moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota in 1962. She and her husband operated and managed McDonalds Mobile Home Park for 30 years until they retired in 2007. Glenda and Darrel shared 48 years of marriage.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Glenda also played an important role in helping her husband manage McDonalds Mobile Home Park as the secretary and bookkeeper. She attended St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, where she was an active member of the C.C.W.
Glenda enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed going on cruises with Judy, Sisko and Patty Cake. She also enjoyed spending time at Mystic Lake Casino and Jack Pot Junction Casino. Glenda loved spending time with her family, friends and her dog “Toots”.
Glenda passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 66 years.

6 Great-Grandchildren, Miley Rannow, Kiley McDonald, Katelyn Harrington, Peyton Harrington, Paxton Harrington, and Layla Riebe;
Sister, Candy Ayres and her husband, Kevin of Hutchinson, MN;
Several Nieces, Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Glenda is preceded in death by her Grandparents; Parents, Lonnie and Mildred Maxwell and Brothers, Joe Maxwell and Jimmy Maxwell.
