Graham A. Stone, age 85, of Bristol, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Bristol Nursing Home in Bristol, Tennessee. He was a native of New Hill, North Carolina and had lived in Washington County, Virginia for several years. He was a son of the late Gather and Maggie Stone and was also preceded in death by his wife, Iva Lee Sexton Stone.
He is survived by a son, Randy Stone of Abingdon, Virginia; one sister, Ora Dell Sexton and her husband, Charles D., of Bristol, Virginia; three brothers, Willard Lee Stone and his wife, Edna May, of Dudley, North Carolina, Fuller Carton Stone of Conway, South Carolina, and Gather Wade Stone and his wife, Polly, of Wilmington, North Carolina; a grandson, Brandon Lee Stone; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the graveside at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, Virginia with Rev. Malcolm Shelton and Rev. Rex Mallory officiating.
