"View this Video Tribute" Mr. Everett Tony Malone, Sr., 60, of 626 Big Arm Branch Road, Bluff City, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 in the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Malone was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Edward Worley and Rassie Kate Ledford Malone. He was a painter and a construction worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Ray Malone, James Malone, Lewis Wayne Malone and Herman Malone; by a half-sister, Clarissa Malone.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Malone, of the home; one son, Everett Tony (Bo) Malone, Jr. and his wife, Anita, of Bluff City; one daughter, Michelle Deloach and her husband Bill, of Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Codey Carter, Trista Freeman and Chelsie Malone; his step-mother, Shirley Malone, Bluff City; two step-grandsons, Cody Cox and William Cox; one step-great-granddaughter, Hannah Norris; one step-great-grandson, Payton Norris; a special sister-in-law, Penny Knight and her husband, Bobby; several brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service for Mr. Everett Tony Malone, Sr., will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Cornett officiating. The Eulogy will be by Penny Knight. Music will be under the direction of Bobby Knight and Amanda Morgan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home.
