Jim Mosman

Mr. Jim Mosman, 74, 801 Fairway Drive, Elizabethton died Monday, March 29, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Boise, Idaho he was the son of the late Harry W. and Evelyn Ireton Mosman. Mr. Mosman was an aeronautical engineer. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Wayne Mosman and a sister, Geraldine Endecott. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Patricia Mosman, of the home; two daughters, Dr. Deborah Hoffman and husband Dr. David Hoffman, Connecticut and Teresa Acosta and husband Don Acosta, California; two granddaughters, Abigail Hoffman and Ava Hoffman, both of Connecticut; two step-grandsons, D. J. Acosta and Tayler Acosta, both of California and a sister-in-law, LaWalta Mosman, Nevada. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

            The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their care to Mr. Mosman.
