Loretta Ann Adams, 61, Gray, TN passed away on Friday, December 18, 2009 at her residence. Born in Kingsport, she was the daughter of the late David Issac and Pernie Elsie Mae Hite.
Mrs. Adams was of the Baptist faith. She was an angel and a blessing to everyone she met.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in-in-law: Denny Cansler.
Survivors include her husband: Ralph Junior Adams, Gray; daughters: Sandra Hurt and husband Michael, Tammy Cansler, and Eva Adams, all of Gray; sisters: Elsie Wagner, Kingsport, Inza Gibson, Rogersville; brothers: Johnny Hite and wife Sherry, PA, David Hite, Jonesborough, Robert Hite, Church Hill, Paul Hite and wife Mae, Rogersville, and Harold Hite and wife Betty, Church Hill; grandchildren: Daniel Hurt and wife Dorothy, Gray, Adam Hurt, Kingsport, Logan Hurt, Piney Flats, Jeremy Adams, Gray, Joe Williams and wife Lisa, Nick Williams, and Ben Williams, all of SC; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 3:30 PM in the mausoleum chapel at Washington County Memory Gardens with Reverend Paul Hite officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Tetrick Funeral Services, 3001 Peoples Street, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Adams grandchildren.
