Leona Bessie Fishel, age 88, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at her home. A native of Unicoi County, she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Gustia Bailey Roberts. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Andrew Lewis Fishel; brother Charlie Clyde Roberts; and sister and brother-in-law, Gladys Evelyn and Hillard Street.

Survivors of Mrs. Fishel are:

Son: Garry Lynn Fishel and wife Helen, of CA;

Daughter: Gwendolyn Ann Young and husband Charles, of Erwin;

Sisters: Eulala Nadine Calhoun and husband Joe, of Burmingham, AL, and Barbara Ann Davis and husband Ted, of Erwin;

Sister-In-Law: Helen Roberts, of VA;

Grandsons: Gary Andrew Fishel and wife Suzanne, and Brian Erik Fishel;

Granddaughter: Kimberly Ann Young;

Great Grandsons: Mason Fishel, and Derek Fishel;

Special friends: John Banner, Ben Banner, and Josephine Gomes;

Several Nieces and Nephews.
