Brenda K. Barnes, age 59, of Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She is a native of Kankakee, IL and a daughter of the late Glen and Maxine Mabrey. Mrs. Barnes worked as a waitress for Huddle House in Erwin, Tennessee. She is of the Non-Denominational faith. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by daughter, Debra Schoonmaker.

Husband: Clifford Barnes, of Jonesborough;
Daughters: Michelle White and husband, Andy of Erwin,
Melissa O’Cull and husband, Arthur of South Dakota;
Son: Mike Bacino and wife, Amanda of Rogersville;
Brother: Glen Mabrey, Jr. of Kentucky;
Grandchildren: Shelby White,
And special grandchild Kaitlynn White.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at Valley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held immediately following the service at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Andy White, Mike Bacino, Jonathan White, Jay White, Clifford D.
