Charlene Eileen Jacquart was born to Norbert and Donna (Johnson) Stich on August 18, 1950 at Lady of Mercy Hospital in Alexandria, MN.
Char Stich and Gerald Jacquart were married in 1975 in Sisseton, SD, and went their separate ways in 1981. Char worked in Fergus Falls as a certified nursing assistant until becoming disabled in 1992, and later moving to Wadena where she lived for the last 16 years. Her days were filled with reading, people watching, playing Yahtzee & card games, watching & talking about her favorite TV shows & movies, listening to CDs, and cruising around town on her HoverRound waving to everyone. She especially enjoyed Sunday coffee with family, Bingo on Thursdays and spending time with her loved ones. When she said “I love you”, you believed it and felt it, because she meant it. She was an angel on earth who just went home.
Char passed away at the age of 61, on April 8, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her father Norbert; and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother Donna Stich of Wadena; son Eric Jacquart (Candice Strandberg) of Wadena; daughter Heather Jacquart (Jason Bruns) of Sebeka; grandchildren Anicia, Caitlyn, Haily, Tabitha, Haley and Imogen; brother Virgil (Debi) Stich of Fergus Falls; nieces and nephews Jeremiah & Ericka Stich, Zach & Clair Stich, Dan Jacquart, Kimberlee Myaer; great-niece Lucy Stich; great nephew Bard Stich; and best friends Mary “sister-in-heart” and Roger Myaer.
