FUNERAL NOTICE CASKIE, David M., age 77 of New Port Richey, FL died Thurs., June 11, 2009 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. Born in Akron, OH he came to the West Coast area 4 years ago from St. Augustine, FL. He was an electrical engineer for Western Electric in North Andover, MA, a US Navy Veteran and retired from the Coast Guard. He was a volunteer fireman in Ocala, a former active member of the American Legion & Knights of Columbus in Plaistow, NH & St. Augustine, member of the Boy Scouts of America in Plaistow, NH, the American Red Cross in Ocala & St. Augustine and Catholic by faith. Survivors include his wife: Patricia; sons & daughters-in-law: Gregory and Pamela Caskie of Hastings, FL, Mark and Yvette Caskie of Spring Hill, FL, & William and Marie Caskie of Las Vegas, NV; daughters & sons-in-law: Vicki and Ray Boucher of Northwood, NH, Valerie and Walter Skrabal of Portsmouth, NH, Brenda and Joseph Simone of Hudson, NH & Terri and Mark McDermott of Spring Hill; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted 10:00am Mon., June 15, 2009 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.
