The Pollard family is sad to report that our wonderful Lloyd Monte Pollard passed away on 24 January 2009, at the East Texas Medical Center from complications of Lymphoma, heart disease, diabetes and pneumonia. Lloyd was born November of 1932 in McGregor, Texas, to Frank and Dollie Pollard.
He is a Korean War veteran of the US Army and a 35 year veteran of the US Immigration and Naturalization Service. He is survived by his loving wife (and best friend) Laurette, son Martin, daughter Liane and two sisters.
In addition he leaves behind a grandson, six granddaughters and his faithful companion Piper. A celebration of his life will be held on 7 February 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stewart Family Funeral Home 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, Texas 75703.
