Mrs. Gaiser passed away on Tuesday, June 8 in Tyler.
She was born March 9, 1925 in Noonday to the late Sam and Emma McKinney. She attended Flint schools and was a graduate of Tyler High School. On November 3, 1941, she married Richard “Red” Gaiser. Mrs. Gaiser was previously employed by East Texas Medical Center and Tyler Independent School District and was a member of Flint Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing Mahjong, 42, canning for all the family, and camping with Red and their Good Sam friends. She loved spending time with her family and watching her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Mae was a wonderful cook – everyone loved her chocolate pies. She and Red cared for many family members and friends and she was always giving of herself. She was a hard worker, plain spoken, but a very caring, compassionate lady.

Gaiser and wife Edith of Tyler; daughter, Vivian Turman and husband Mike of Noonday; granddaughters: Letha Kay Vanderhei, Shelly Schmidt, and Lori Nardi; and grandsons, Richard Gaiser II and Lee Corley.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
