Services for Fredrick J. Arntt, 67, of Tyler will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Tyler, Texas with the Pastors Mark Braaden and Arthur Miller officiating, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
Fredrick J. Arntt was born on January 15, 1943 to the late Fredrick H. Arntt and Mabel Arntt in Jansen, Nebraska. He went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, July 8, 2010. He was raised on a farm in Nebraska, which instilled the tremendous work ethic in him that he always lived by. After graduating from high school Fred opened an automotive repair business in Fairbury, Nebraska. Fred enjoyed working on vehicles and built and raced dirt track cars as a young man. Fred also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Fred was also a fireman in Fairbury. Later in life Fred was a branch manager for Bankers Life and Casualty in Tyler and then owned and operated Tyler Professional Staffing Agency with his loving wife of 28 years, Pamela Arntt. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Tyler, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Arntt; daughter and son-in-law Marilee and Craig Chaplin of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota; daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Troy Horinek of Troup, Texas; daughter Tamela Callahan of Flint, Texas; son Matthew Arntt of Arlington, Virginia; son C.C. Callahan of Tyler, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Loretta Arntt of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren, Anthony, Eric, Alyssa, Evan, Jessica, Jennifer, Logan, Dylan and Courtney; and three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Mackenzie and Austin.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Arntt, Craig Chaplin, Troy Horinek, Kevin Weichel, Tony Browning and Rod Walker.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, 75703.
If desired, memorials may be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Tyler, Texas.
