Services for Juquita Ann Hall, 71, of Tyler will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Von Dawson of Recklaw, TX officiating.
Juquita went to rest in the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born in Vernon, TX on December 5, 1939 to Hubert and Pauline Doyle. She grew up in the farmland of Wilbarger County and attended the Northside School where she graduated in 1958. She attended Hardin Simmons University from 1958-1960 and Midwestern State University from 1960-1961. She met her husband, Richard Hall, in Wichita Falls, TX and they were married on March 31, 1961. They lived in Wichita Falls, Dallas, TX, and Shreveport, LA prior to moving to Tyler in 1980.
Juquita worked at the Petroleum Data Library downtown for almost 30 years. She was well known to the men and women that work in the East Texas oil and gas industry. Through her management of the Petroleum Data Library, she was actively involved in the East Texas Geological Society where she served on the Scholarship Selection Committee. Juquita also volunteered her time with the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee from 2001-2006.
Juquita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Hall, and her oldest brother Gerald Doyle. She is survived by her daughter Richelle Wessman of Longview, TX and her son Richard Hall M.D. and his wife Shannon Hall of Charlottesville, VA. She has four grandchildren, Zackery and Seth Wessman of Longview and Landon and Collin Hall of Charlottesville, VA. She is also survived by her brother Joe Doyle of West Columbia, TX.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, 75703.
