Marjorie Ann Chiles, 70, of Mansfield, Arkansas, died April 14, 2012, at Sparks Medical Center, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born December 17, 1941, in Cherokee City, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Pete Meeker and Inez King Meeker. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Gentry, Arkansas. She married Bert A. Chiles on September 8, 1962, in Gentry, Arkansas.
Survivors include her husband Bert of the home; one daughter, Marsha Floyd and husband Jerry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one son, William Aaron Chiles and wife Mistie of Fort Smith, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; Joey, Meisha, Kristen, Sarah, Lauren, Haylee, Stephanie; one great grandchild, Jacob; five siblings, Walt Meeker and wife Sue of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Elnora Holcomb and husband Jim of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, John Meeker of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jim Meeker and wife Marilyn of Siloam Springs, and Diana Jennings and husband Skip of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and numerous Nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Greg Meeker, Mike Meeker, Mark Meeker, Travis Jennings, Jared Jennings, and Hank Jenks.
Funeral services will be 1100 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Gentry, Arkansas, with Pastor Jack Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
